Clark Project

This space is the perfect example of the results we get when we take advantage of the elevation opportunity in a yard!

We started this project with a drop of 38″ in elevation from the patio to the retaining wall on the backside of the yard. Whereas most would think to build their pool level with the patio, we were given the creative liberty of adding some unique dimension to this space.

We started by dropping the pool down 24″ inches! This created a very grand feel when looking out into the yard from the home’s main views. We kept the spa at patio level for easy access from the backdoor and created an entry into the pool on the left side of the spa. The wet lounging area was strategically placed to connect the sunken fire pit and the spa and act as an unconventional entry into the pool for those that don’t care to take the stairs.

The sunken fire pit and stairs throughout the backyard feature LED strip lights that can set the tone for any gathering!
